Hayden and James met the good ‘ol fashioned way, on Tinder. Better yet, they matched on the popular dating application three years before they met in person for the first time. The initial spark that brought these two love-nerds together was the discovery of their mutual love of video games. James and Hayden bonded over interplanetary warfare, animal centric interior decorating, and solving the mysteries of the universe. While this internet romance was blossoming (brought to you by Google Fiber™) they knew it was worth risking the jump into reality. On an unseasonably warm December day Hayden asked James if he would like to be his date to the UNC Family Medicine Department’s annual Christmas party.
